Engineering Science & Technology (ISSN: 2717-5235 (Print) 2717-5243 (Online)) held its first online Editorial Board Meeting on 31 July 2024. This online meeting brought together  Associate Editor Dr. Qianpu Wang and our esteemed Editorial Members, all of whom demonstrated their dedication and enthusiasm in supporting the journal's growth. During the meeting, the Editorial Board Members engaged in a productive discussion on various topics, including journal performance, strategies for attracting high-quality papers, increasing citation rate, hosting Special Issues, and cooperating with the conferences. Notably, the meeting concluded with valuable suggestions from our Editorial Board Members on enhancing the journal's visibility and preparing for the ESCI and Scopus application. The engagement and insights shared during the meeting were invaluable. It allowed us to gather crucial feedback, engage in candid discussions about manuscript quality, refine our peer-review processes, and delineate comprehensive strategies for journal development.
